First Pregnancy Test Dispenser in Bar Bathroom
Pub 500 in Mankato, Minnesota is the first bar in America to install a pregnancy test dispenser in the ladies rest room. This may seem like an unusual combination of pregnancy tests and bars, but the logic behind it is to inform women of their pregnancy so they can curb their drinking in order to stop fetal alcohol syndrome among infants. Tom Frederick, the owner of Pub 500, says “Obviously, we looked at it as a strange idea at first, but it can help prevent problems that are 100 percent preventable.”
